This is a complex, moving book, based on relationships between Andy, his brother, parents, wife and children, and his biggest deal, an arrangement between an artist, Lang, and himself. All of his relationships require understanding. “We must find our own style,” is advice Andy’s father gave him.
The biggest deal begins as Andy becomes more committed to the needs and frustrations of his art master, Lang Tzu. A deal between them is a challenging aspect of the intricacies of valuing and trading art. I rate it as a really good read, with Andy as the narrator.
