Refugee Week

Starting this coming Sunday, Refugee Week runs from the 16th to the 22nd of June.  This annual activity in Australia is intended to raise awareness of refugees, of the issues they face, and of the contributions they make to our society.  This year’s theme is Finding Freedom, with a focus on family.  Our True Stories section contains many books about the experiences of refugees in coming to Australia.  Perhaps one of those recommended below may catch your eye?
