International Mother Language Day

February 21st is International Mother Language Day, which highlights the importance languages play in development, cultural diversity, and intercultural dialogue.  Your libraries have a Community Languages section, where you can find books in: Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Spanish, Thai, and Ukranian. You could browse for books in your mother language, or perhaps a language you are trying to learn. Our collection is mostly adult fiction, though we also have some junior and non-fiction books here. Perhaps one of the titles suggested below may catch your eye?
