Library Staff Recommendation
This book is quirky, mischievous and witty, just like it’s main character Tama – a magpie that has been rescued after falling from its nest. He comes to live in his rescuer’s home and learns to talk. He is full of humour and critique, and has insightful observations to make about both the dark and hopeful sides of human relationships.
Chidley has woven a tale that is both unsettling (as she explores a dysfunctional relationship) and laugh out loud funny and full of sass. Absolutely loved this!
