10th novel by popular thriller writer Louise Doughty. This is an exciting and engaging read about a middle-aged woman who works as a government spy and who is on the run, hunted down by real enemies. “Bird” is tracked down as far away as Iceland, but she manages to escape but continues to be hunted down and followed although she survives on her wits and ability to adopt many disguises. Riveting and entertaining with interesting characters and flawless prose.
